Halle Berry Explodes at Paparazzi, Restrains Olivier Martinez in Airport Melee

Angry Halle Berry
Life as Halle Berry's fiance has proven to be especially violent for Olivier Martinez.
A few months after he fought Gabriel Aubry on the actress' front lawn, the French actor was involved in another scuffle yesterday, as he and Berry fought their way through the paparazzi at LAX.
The couple had touched down after a vacation in Hawaii when Halle exploded at photographers all around her.

"Get away, there's a child," Berry screamed while in the presence of little Nahla. "What the f-ck is wrong with you people?"
According to the TMZ video, Berry and Martinez eventually made it to their SUV, only for the latter to them turn around and reportedly kick a reporter.
But Berry quickly grabbed her man, forced him into the vehicle and they sped away before things turned too ugly.

Magic Johnson's Son Comes Out as Gay, Receives Support from Father

Magic Johnson, Wife
Earvin Johnson III - the son of basketball legend and Los Angeles Dodgers owner Magic Johnson - went public with his same-sex relationship yesterday, strolling down the Sunset Strip while holding the hand of his boyfriend.
And the former Lakers star couldn't be more supportive of the 20-year old.

Referencing his wife, Johnson told TMZ:
"Cookie and I love EJ and support him in every way. We're very proud of him."

The younger Johnson is a student at NYU and clearly enjoys a close bond with his parents. He's "hoping and praying" for a winning Dodgers season and Magic Tweeted last August:
"Thx to my son EJ for hosting me at NYU. Look forward to taking him to dinner tonight in the city."

Michael Jackson Wrongful Death Lawsuit: AEG, Singer's Drug Use on Trial

Michael Jackson Trial Pic
Michael Jackson's addiction to prescription drugs will be front and center in the wrongful death lawsuit against AEG, the trial for which begins today.
The late icon's mother, Katherine Jackson, and Michael's three minor children, Paris, Prince and Blanket, are suing AEG Live for its role in MJ's demise.
Their case rests on the claim that the company negligently hired and supervised Dr. Conrad Murray, who killed MJ with a massive overdose of Propofol.
How is Jackson's history with prescription drugs central to the trial?

According to TMZ, Jackson had at least 19 aliases to score Rx drugs from physicians, and would "doctor shop" to find professionals who would accommodate him.
Doctors and some dentists would justify giving MJ Propofol, a hospital-grade anesthetic, by saying they needed to put him under for minor procedures.
In one case, a famed doctor used a gynecologist's office, run by a doc who specialized in vaginal rejuvenation, to secure the anesthesia on his behalf.
The Jackson family will argue AEG Live had a duty to monitor Murray for what he was doing, even if it means bringing attention to Michael's flaws.
AEG will counter that Jackson is the one who found Murray in the first place and that Murray gave him Propofol long before the ill-fated "This Is It" tour.
AEG has a slew of doctors on its witness list to make the case that MJ's addiction was long established, to the argument clearly has two sides.
Katherine and the children are asking for more than $40 BILLION in damages; AEG clearly feels it can take its chances in court rather than settling.
Stay tuned ...

Robinson Cano Drops Scott Boras as Agent, Hires Jay-Z

As a member of the Yankees, Robinson Cano has been in a New York State of mind since his breakout rookie season of 2006.
But the All-Star second baseman took that to a new level today, dropping uber agent Scott Boras and becoming the first athlete to sign up with Roc Nation Sports, an agency headed by Jay-Z.
"At this point in my career, I am ready to take a more active role in my endeavors on and off the field," Cano said in a statement.
"I am confident that the pairing of Roc Nation Sports and CAA Sports will be essential in helping me accomplish my short and long-term goals. I am making this important decision now so I can keep my focus on helping the Yankees succeed in 2013, while minimizing any distractions for me and my teammates."

Insiders confirm that Mr. Beyonce is looking to become a certified sports agent, first in baseball and eventually in basketball and football.
He already owns a stake in the Brooklyn Nets (and is stuck dealing with Kris Humphries as a result), but would need to sell it if he ever represented professional basketball players.
Cano, meanwhile, is a fantastic first-get for his company.
One of the top five players in the game and the only good young player on the Yankees, he's primed to sign a new $200 million deal.

Angelina Jolie Opens All-Girls School in Afghanistan

Angelina Jolie Red Carpet Pic
We have not made this point in a little while, but: Angelina Jolie is awesome.
E! News confirms that this UNHCR Goodwill ambassador has opened up an all-girls school just outside of Kabul, Afghanistan.
The location was chosen because that area typically favors male education over female education, while many refugees have been returning to the village after the fall of the Taliban.

The school teaches over 200 young women, with Jolie making plans to open similar institutions around the world in the near future.

Jolie is funding these massive projects by selling personally designed jewelry to retailers for the first time.
"Beyond enjoying the artistic satisfaction of designing these jewels, we are inspired by knowing our work is also serving the mutual goal of providing for children in need," the actress told E! News.
Really, Chelsea Handler, for the work of a "demon," this is pretty impressive.
As for Jolie's other half? Brad Pitt will also be saving the world this way. Check out the World War Z trailer now!

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom Charity Scam: Exposed?

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom in NYC
A new ESPN report has led to questions about a charity run by Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom, as an investigation by Outside the Lines makes it clear:
Cathy’s Kids has not given a dime to charity-related causes, despite raising $2.2 million since its creation in 2004.
A look into the charity's tax records reveals that Cathy's Kids - named in honor of Lamar's late mother, who died of stomach cancer - has been primarily used to finance two elite youth basketball teams.

Moreover, the only executive listed as having received a salary is Jerry DeGregorio, Odom's high school coach and the best man in his wedding to Kardashian.
Now an assistant with the Golden State Warriors, DeGregorio was listed at the secretary of Cathy’s Kids from 2004 through 2011, for which he was paid a median annual salary of about $72,000... despite the charity operating at a loss during that period.
Making matter worse? Or certainly not any better?
When approached in a locker room by ESPN reporters, Odom replied to the charity’s spending habits by saying, “It’s my money.”
That response may come back to haunt Lamar because it is a violation of tax laws for a charity to spend money outside of its stated mission.
We'll update this story as news breaks, but the Khloe Kardashian wardrobe malfunction from this weekend may soon be the least of this couple's worries.

Hayden Panettiere Glamour Cover, Photo Shoot

Nashville star Hayden Panettiere shows off her tanned, toned and traffic-stopping body in the new issue of Glamour magazine, on newsstands April 9.
All we have to say is that we would be hating on Wladimir Klitschko so hard right now, except that he could beat up our whole company in 30 seconds.
So well done, Wladimir. Well done sir.
Hayden, 23, says she's tried to stay grounded despite achieving fame at such a young age: “It’s not that I didn’t go to clubs, have my picture taken."
"I was 16 years old. I was experimenting just like any kid. But I had friends and family around me to yank me back when I was heading in the wrong direction."

"Every turn that I made, somebody was waiting for me to fall on my face. The thing that really saved me was that I still had that healthy fear of my parents."
Lindsay Lohan? Not so much.
Regarding her tattoo, Hayden says, “It’s Italian: Vivere senza rimpianti. When I was younger, I was upset, and my dad said he wanted to show me something."
"He slammed one door of the bathroom, and the closet door popped open ... it was a trick with the air. He said, ‘Whenever one door closes, another one always opens.’"
"So my tattoo means ‘Live without regrets.’ It’s not that you don’t regret things in life, but you at least try to learn from them. It’s misspelled too [accidentally, as rimipianti]."
"So, I literally have to live by that advice!”
Now that she's (probably) engaged, she's thinking about getting married and having kids ... someday: “I don’t really have a plan. I’ve lived a very big life."
"I don’t feel my age, and I feel like I was born to be a mother. Sometimes people speak about [having kids] like, ‘You’re never going to be able to do anything!’"
"I’m like, ‘What are you talking about?’ Motherhood is the most beautiful, exciting thing. There’s nothing I feel like I can’t accomplish while having children.”
As for being a role model, she says, “I never put my name in the ballot box and said, ‘Hey, I want you to vote me as your teen leader and icon and your Miss Perfect.’"
"I will never be perfect. That’s just unrealistic. You’re unexpectedly put in a position of becoming a role model; that’s not something you choose.”
"I will never try or pretend to be perfect."
